Deities

Apart from the Divine Mother, there is one more Deity inside the temple. The legend says that after some time, Sree Bhadrakali, the younger sister of the Divine Mother, arrived and stayed in the temple. Seeing that the short tempered Sree Bhadrakali would cause hardship to Divine Mother’s devotees, Mother got a separate Sreekovil made to house Sree Bhadrakali. Inside the Chuttambalam there are no other deities. There are other deities outside the Chuttambalam. They are Brahmarakshas, Khandakarnan, Nagaraja, Nagayakshi and Sarpam.
